« on: December 29, 2019, 08:54:53 am »
I have been looking  at making my own  carbon fiber pole there is quite a lot of u k company's out there that supply all you need even clamps, soon as I get a chance ill take a few measurements   see what can be achieved you never know .even if you save  a good few quid its got to be a start  and may be improve so you can get a pole you are happy with. I've tried in the past with the roach fishing pole but sections kept getting stuck .in fact I've still got it .

Wouldn’t you be better just working a day to buy yourself something like an slx22 or a couple of days more for an xtreme?
Save all the hassle of doing it all?

I'd be interested to see what you come up with. But I can't help thinking that the hours you put in to this researching, sourcing, adapting and assembling will cancel out any financial saving.
