You miserable bugger.

I love it, time with family and friends is what it’s all about. Recharge the batteries and back to it with vigour in the new year.

Get a hobby?

I'll be going fishing, going on a few bike rides and if we get a nice day I'll get my motorbike out and give that a good blast.

Along with family stuff and business odds and ends to sort out I will be plenty busy enough over the next few days.

Not for me!
Its that one time in the year when you truly get some time off work without feeling guilty for doing so. Knowing that its a national holiday and people kinda expect you to have some time off, makes it more enjoyable, especially mentally switching off from work.
Sure, you can take your personal holidays etc n sick time but its not quite the same.
Enjoy it whilst you can.    I need a break from all of 2019 and feeling chilled n relax before the onslaught of problems of 2020  ;D

Will be piking this time of year, bit of deadbaiting on the rivers.

Need to go to tackle shop first and check what gear I've got, it's been a while since I've been.

I don't do the xmas thing but I always appreciate a few days off after the onslaught of December cleans.

3 days off is a holiday to me, and this year I am really chilled, but it's back tomorrow and Monday for shop fronts, a couple more days off, then back to whatever normal may be on the 2nd. There's a builder's clean to finish off in there somewhere too, so that will get done by the end of next week.

Mordiford is good for pike on the wye.
Prefer Zander fishing on the Severn , near to Upton marinas a good spot ;)
