I’ve put in my quote for the buildings in question. The yearly price for contract is almost six figures. It would more than double our current size of business.
I’ve priced the jobs high so if i do get them we will be making minimum £500 per day.
I don’t actually want the job as i now realise its too much stress for me. However should i get the job atleast i would be making really good money.
Fingers crossed i dont get it lol
With respect on commercial work like that two guys at £500 per day is not good money that’s only £250 each , you should be able to do the best part of that per day on domestic which is far easier and using cheaper smaller poles we are double that price for that type of work , and yes we di pick up quite a bit at that price .
I did say minimum £500 per day. As in the absolute lowest should the job turn into some sort of disaster or factoring in things going wrong. I've actually priced the work at £250 per day per man then x 3. So in essence its more like £750 per day per man. Lets just call it £1,000 for a 2 man team. So if i got £500 per man i'd be happy, but if we end up getting more than that then happy days.
The job is priced at between £40,000-£50,000 per clean so you do the maths if it's done twice a year. It's made up of about 50 different buildings roughly. Some as small as £100 per building, some as large as £10,000.
So have I got this right there are 2,000 windows and the maximum price for each clean is 50,000 ?... if my maths is right that’s £25 for each window ?.. cannot see any health authority paying that , something doesn’t seam right ?...
Nooooo you’ve both got it wrong. I didn’t want to give away too much information just incase somebody else on here had been asked to quote the job.
The main building in question has about 2000 windows with sub buildings surrounding it of another 2000 windows. Atleast 1000 of the windows are courtyard windows which would be a pain in the arse.
This is just the biggest building i have been asked to quote. Ive been asked to quote another 20 or so buildings. The job total is £50,000 for the lot, the whole shabang!
At this point i genuinely hope we dont get the job as everybodies negativity and sarcasm has put me off! Can see why Lee Pryor has a good moan at you lot every now and then.
Only came on here to post for advice (some helpful might i add) but most of you just offer negative non helpful input. We are smashing the domestic work so i dont need this job if nothing else it was just a bit of fun doing the quotes on some big commercial for a change.
Well back to it. Its chucking it down and these houses wont clean themselves!!!!
