Lol god loves a trier as they say,yes it does get to the window if it didn’t get to the window it wouldn’t produce bubbles.
It won’t work so well if you use cold water and live in a caravan,it only sticks to everything if you’ve got a top of the range 9 kw heater.
I think most on here realise that you haven't a clue NWH this just proves it further, if its getting  to the glass then there wont be any left to stick to anything, so does it only get to the glass when using cold ?
Plus if you want bubbles all you need is a well worn faulty pump or for it to be coated in something that makes it act like a well worn faulty pump, a real cleaning solution would give you suds and last thing you want is for soap suds to be left on the glass.

I think it’s good to experiment with these kind of things though. Regardless of the flack that sometimes comes with trying different methods. After all, we use a system , wfp, that probably took some time and effort to get credibility at the start. But it was refined over time and works well , so we don’t need to pop up and down the ladders every day.  We work safer.
I mean, when doctors started treating patients with poison to treat cancer (leukaemia) for the first time, they thought they were bonkers. It didn’t work at the beginning, but over time, with knowledge, it became more targeted and refined. Now it’s a leading way of treating cancer successfully in some cases.
On our more mundane topic of window cleaning, maybe additives will be found that will make our cleaning more thorough on upvc full of fly crap for example.
But these advances come built on products that started off that process of thinking.
Just saying!! ;D
You talk as if there where no cleaning products before these snake oils came onto the market, there's a reason why when somebody comes on here in need of advice for a genuinely hard clean they never even come close to being recommended, there are real products out there to help with all sorts of cleaning problems which do work and get recommended by people with experience.
When I started out there where people who said cleaning windows with water on its own wouldn't work, seeing a clean window soon shut them up, since then we have had people like Alex Gardiner bringing out lighter poles and brushes which have made the job easier and quicker but there's yet to be a genuine product that can make a window cleaner than clean because its not needed.
Not really mate. I’m talking about additives , to the pure. Not products used as additions to your job.
I get your point about additives.

The main thing Vision or similar does is help with water left on the glass when you’ve cleaned a window with it,it’s noticeably different after a couple of cleans.
The brush slides easier over the window and the brush stays cleaner, all these things are true I used it for long enough to see it did have some benefits, the problem I had was with my pump although I think over time I did definitely use to much, some days I had half a tank left yet still added another dose

Hi
Been a long time on here . ,Vision isn’t for everyone  but has certainly helped a lot .  AFTER 5 years of being launched its doing well and maintained a market .
It has helped many wfp users and the aim was to help and make money , obviously .
It’s good that the Wfp industry is innovating new products to help the user .
Univalves , slicks , new pole designs , additives , TFR’s and new systems , it  all helps ..

It’s certainly a improving industry .....

Have a good xmas .....

I love vision. It helps with cleaning results and helps with glide, i think it helps with sheeting also.
I love the bubbles, perhaps its a mind thing but i love to see that bubbly soapy water going on the glass, kinda gives me a sense that im cleaning every inch of the glass.
I use a hot system with xline rinsebar and that really helps it bubble up nicely especially with my controller ramped up to a high setting for pressure and also flow rate.
As far as the tank is concerned it actually keeps my tank clean and green free.
Just give your filter a clean more often than just using pure as it does clog a bit quicker with vision.
All in all a good cheap product that lasts for ages.

Gardiners and a few others have cornered the equipment market so all thats left for anybody trying to get in on the action are snake oils and nonsense, the truth is as long as there are gullible people there will be those who will take advantage of them, I do it when I sell my used poles on fleebay for new pole prices.

I use added sparkle,
I have to say it cuts through bird muck and makes cleaning much easier.

I am now waiting for dry clean to engage in some ridicule .
however, I think that after  28 years in this business,  I have enough experience to comment.

It might feel lovely, but you’d still get just as clean with a hot or cold bath (dirt wise, I’m not talking about germs and stuff)

I don’t care how the window feels or if my hot/cold water puts a smile on its face, as long as it’s clean when we’ve finished.

You do come out with daft arguments sometimes mate, you don’t help yourself.
Why don't you have a quick google before making stupid comments?

You could have 100 years experience and still not know what you're doing, fact is you're not adding enough of anything to the water to make any difference to anything, for somebody in the business as long you not to realise this makes me think you either don't know what you're doing or are giving a false review.

placebo effect

It seems to build up at the pump and cause it to splutter and put bubbles in the water similar to what you would get with a faulty pump with an air leak, this leads some who are wet behind the ears to think they're getting soap suds on the glass when they are not, so yes its a placebo effect.

Are they wet behind the ears with added vision or not?
It's a game of three halves!

ok. I havn't got a clue then.
its pointless giving a review on it because im just telling porkies.

pointless carrying on a discussion or giving a review when someone just can not accept any other view .
even though , they have not tried it themselves.

on the other parallel discussion on hot and cold . common sense tells you that hot is best.
if I thought I could benefit financialy, I would , and may be will in the future.

at least NWH has tried both additives and hot .
he sid that additives help, but he just didn't like the build up of gunk.

Don’t listen it does give better glide it does shift bird poop easier as you say it cloked my pump but I used to much on a daily basis,if I was cold only if use it daily but I’d make sure I used the correct amount.

If Dry clean was as experienced as he says-thinks he is he’d have a hot system,he’s probably oiling himself up as we speak reading over some old posts.

No science will tell you that hot water can in certain circumstances clean quicker not better,  but common sense and experience will tell you if its needed or not to remove what we get on the glass quicker, similar science and experience will also tell us that adding very low levels of soap to water will have little to no effect because the mix is just too weak, so yes you haven't a clue

sean, I've been reading your posts for years and, your very opinionated about many things, I think these topics  kinda scare you so you go on the defence, mate come out of your very small comfort zone and get into the real world, people use additives, yes they get on with them some do and some don't its no big problem and its not the end of the world yet you, seem to have a mission where you feel the need to dismiss anything that is that is unknown to you, its either hot or cold additives or not, what next are you going to argue about?.
