Ive gone with these and ive used them for the last couple of weeks, especially in all that rain we had.

They are very warm and mostly waterproof. They have material over the top, on the back of your hand and waist. However, a couple of layers of waterproof spray has done the trick for me.
There are lovely n warm as well

Just bought some of these as well and for the money they are amazing.

Seem very hard wearing, warm and whilst not properly waterproof I found they last a few hours before becoming wet at which point just dry them out and pick up another pair.

I've tried loads of gloves including some pretty expensive ones and they all either get wet or are dropping to bits in no time.

These ones are great

Oh and you can get them for less than a fiver a pair if you look harder.

Tool station also do these which seem to be pretty much the same, I've got both.

Its  not about being cold, its about working in the cold rain for me. Hence the need for them to be waterproof.
Haha and i like you probably wished we were as young again as the snowflake generation. Stop being a grumpy old codger b4 ur time  ;D ;D ;D

Summer, Showa 377 - Fully waterproof, cloth inside, washable.

Winter, Showa 460 - fully waterproof, "fur" lined, unbelievably toasty, need to get used to them though, as they are thick. Washable.

As for all the daft comments: Why make your life unpleasant?  Any idiot can be cold.

I always wear gloves at work, they are not just to keep your hands warm in cold weather but they keep your hands clean. When you think of some of the things we drag our hoses through  ;D In my opinion they are essential ppe for daily use.

Oh chill out girls.  It was a joke. Yes i wear gloves. Nitrile. If it’s colder then some builders ones or similar. If the water freezes we go home. Doesn’t get too bad here in the south.

I use nitrile in the autumn-spring time , and when it gets bitterly cold I’ve got some neoprene ones  still going strong from my trad days.  If it’s peeing it down I stick on my nitrile gloves underneath the neoprene ones.  But I tend to find after the first house or two, when my blood has got up a bit , I’m ok with just the nitrile , unless there’s a bitter wind blowing.
I know it makes sense to wear gloves all year round from a hygiene perspective, but my hands sweat like mad in the summer months and I can’t bear it. My fingers look like they’ve been in the bath for a few hours!!  :D

The joy of the 377s for summer is that they have a thin material lining that soaks away the sweat.  Mine last about 6 weeks before I have to sling them.

i also wear the fully waterproof showa 377s with glove liners underneath in the winter but its not been cold enough yet so im still just wearing the disposable gloves on their own....if it gets really cold(minus temperatures in the daytime)then i wear some neoprene gloves(glacier "perfect curve")....
price higher/work harder!

Or you can employ someone else to do job and stand and watch with your hands in your pocket filled with pocket warmers 😁
