How would you handle this sad competitor? New
« on: November 14, 2019, 09:09:07 pm »
I have been chatting today to another two wc in my area.  Most wc I tend to get on well with.

We have discovered today after a lot of digging and phone calls that we have a competitor leaving fake bad reviews on Google.    Without going into specifics we have recorded a pattern and and linked it to one competitor.

Our blood is at boiling point and we need to tackle this somehow.   I admit, I need to calm down a bit before I make any contact, but any advice would be great.

I'd contact Google and explain the situation. Hopefully they'll remove the negative feedback. Not worth confronting the bitter competitor. He'll only deny any involvement.

Defo not letting it slip as we need to halt this ASAP and put to bed.

The culprit is a regular user of this forum, probably wont admit to it, but we have enough proof now.

Hopefully he has seen the post and will remove all these fake reviews over the weekend, and we can forget all about it and move on, or we will all be having words next week.

I won't name him for legal reasons at the moment, so no asking  ;D

I had the same thing, I contacted google, who then could see he had also left 1 star reviews on a few other window cleaners business pages.

They removed the fake review from my listing.

It has since happened again, this time from someone else, but google have said they can’t remove it because this time there isn’t enough evidence. Which really REALLY annoyed me.

People are immature and low lives.

Hope google remove it for you, they should do.

drown it out with great reviews to start with..

then let the plonker know that you know.

leaving fake reviews is a mugs game. they can just do the same to you and then everyone looses
