It’s a turbo head fitted inside a housing, nothing is spinning inside, the water jet exits the turbo head in a circular motion

This is it at full power, imagine this is what is happening inside his metal housing but at a much lower power....;

Pity really he spent 5 minutes talking, then 5 minutes demonstrating a high pressure nozzle in a Heath Robinson plastic box but never actually cleaned a grout line???   A shame because like many others he is trying to fix something that’s not broken, and utilise a machine that is not designed for hard floor cleaning and sadly doesn’t even understand the concept of cleaning grout effectively.  The answer is dwell time and agitation not an adapted carpet cleaning machine and water pressure.

Yes. That is the widest grout line I've ever seen.

Grout cleaning is sorted mate!  Get yourself a Mono Rotary fitted with a soft to medium brush and a wet vac it comes up immaculate each and every time ;D.  If you do invent one put a set of wheels on the bottom so it doesn’t scratch a polished floor.  The only sad part is when you have done the grout you will have to go over it again to clean the middles of all the dirty tiles.  Then you will have to do it again where you cleaned the grout lines twice when you slightly overlapped trying to clean the middles,  by the time your on your third go I will be in the pub with my money having done about 4 floors.  Trust me I have been there and done the comparisons, the Mono Rotary wins every time  ;D

great ,  i have the gear ... and im no stranger to it in some ways , but i dont do a lot of it   ... but i am getting asked more frequently, mostly kitchen tiles hence my lookout for labour saving devices  .   Got a taski rotary  , a soft and medium brush  ....   a salmon grout brush on a pole   ,  iv been using the Enforcer as a wet vac  .... and i often rince/ extract with a teflon glided carpet wand .    Shine the tiles after with soft pads or terry towels on the rotary .
Iv been  adding  a mix of hair bleach  in the  grout scurb to brighten it a bit  !   ;D

There is a very simple formula to make a fab job of cleaning grout, it’s called pre wetting.  If you soak the grout with water prior to cleaning when you come to add the SRP Xtreme Heavy Duty Tile & Grout High Alkaline cleaner diluted accordingly through the mono rotary water tank it will then do it’s job and sit on the surface where the dirt is.  You then agitate with a soft to medium brush fitted, allow to dwell, agitate again and extract.  The grout comes up immaculate each and every time.  If it is really really bad, on the 2nd agitate phase sprinkle honing powder into the mix, this then cleans the surface mechanically by removing a few microns off the surface.  So you have a chemical clean and a mechanical clean at the same time.  I find it incredulous that so many people make the same mistakes over and over by either trying to clean grout when the floor is dry, without pre wetting, or they try to clean using a pad instead of a brush, then stand  there, scratching their heads and blaming the cleaning product when the grout is still dirty.  It’s because the the whole technique was wrong and the cleaning product they applied is now sitting at the bottom of the porous grout doing absolutely no good whatsoever.  This is one of the first lessons we teach on our hard floor courses.  Cleaning is a science that needs doing methodically,  it’s  not just about chucking some bleach down, battering it with water pressure and hoping for the best ;D
