These so called managers all move on from my experience it’s when someone comes in to the job that has new ideas and try’s to save in some cases a few quid you get the grief,my view on these is to never put to many eggs in the basket with this type of work.
Spread your bets widely imo I wouldn’t have a weeks worth of time taken up by management companies unless most of it was subbed out, then I’d look at it as bonus money when I’m out doing my usual stuff day to day.

I agree. We have always focused on residential with a touch of commercial. The biggest commercial job we have is our local junior and senior school. We have had it for 10 years but my gut tells me that this year is the last time we clean it.

They have a 'new broom' who is only interested in saving money. His attitude is if the teachers want clean windows they can clean them themselves.
Success is 1% inspiration, 98% perspiration and 2% attention to detail!

The older I get, the better I was ;)

Did a school and like you say new broom came in with someone she knew and we lost it,cleaned it for about 7-8 years.
Only a fool will look upon this kind of work as if they will have it for years, you’ll have it until a certain person takes a dislike or knows another window cleaner. I’ve had jobs commercial that is when a member of staff has tried to get me out because they knew someone, only being in with the company owner kept the job for me.
