Vehicle tracker
« on: November 05, 2019, 05:34:37 pm »
Hi everyone

Hope you're all ok and looking forward to some time off soon!

Could anyone recommend a good vehicle tracking company please? I'm not after the cheapest, I'm after the best with warranty, fob etc.

Many thanks
Tom

Look at Velocity  - we were with Ram but the service and quality of coverage has dropped lately

Very clunky software - we had a few issues with trackers ( most likely our area ) but this new company provides more options with slicker software, faster response - we can if we wish copy (edited - thx soupy!) the customer with a link so they can see how far away the van is with an ETA

RAM has pretty much become unusable.

Looking into these at the moment:

I got put in touch with a local vehicle electrician who uses this company: https://scorpiontrack.com/

He’s supplying and fitting it for me. Then it’s about £190 for two years for the subscription.

It’s actually for my new car, the insurance company said I have to have at least an S5 tracker fitted for them to insure it.

I’m considering some for the vans now though.

Thanks again guys 👍
