Grippa tank delivery time
« on: November 04, 2019, 09:59:27 pm »
How quick are grippa tank at delivery usually? I have never used them before, but Gardiners stopped selling their 20” ez pure carbon pre filter and the only place to get it frlm is grippa, I orders it last Thursday but on the site it still says processing. Not great service, I desperately need it, shame they can’t be as good as Gardiners.

Hello,

If the item is in stock it will ship usually within 1 working day.

Could you be so kind as to email cst@grippatank.co.uk with your order number and we can check if the order has been processed  for you and come back to you once back in the office in the morning?

Grippa lead times are quite long, maybe because they owe suppliers a lotof money ?CCJ?

The item I wanted was in stock ordered nearly a week ago, no response this morning either. I had heard their customer service was poor and it’s proving to be correct. Think I will change back to standard carbon and sediment filter that way I can buy them anywhere  :(

Its annoying right. I got my ezpure system from gardiners, not long after they stop selling the filters and membranes!
Membranes you can get anywhere but these particular filters I can only find at grippa or get imported from USA, and since grippa are the only ones that sell them here they have the monopoly and upped the price.
Shame really as these filters are good, with a long life cycle but I'm thinking of switching back as well.

I’ve been waiting 16 working days for an order that I was assured would take 7 days.

It’s always me chasing them for updates too, never them being proactive and updating me.

I was considering ordering a full delivery system from them but this isn’t filling me with confidence tbh.

I won't mention the kerfuffle I've had with them over my GrippaReel  ::)roll. I was getting over spin. They told me they were going to send out a retro brake but I'd have to wait 6 weeks. 10 weeks later I contact them again asking where the brake was. A few weeks later a piece of plastic with nuts and a threaded bar arrived. No instructions on how it fitted or feck all. I get in touch asking how it fits the reel. 'We'll send you a video.' No video. I contact them again and get sent a youtube link. Looks easy enough I thought, until I realised it wouldn't fit. Contacted them again. They sent out a replacement. It was exactly the same as the first one  ::)roll. Contacted them again. A different brake turned up. Fitted it. Guess what. The plastic nut end catches on the reel handle every time you reel. I've fecked it off and gone back to stuffing pipe lagging between the drum and inner reel to slow it down.

Every order I've placed with them has had a c0ck up involved.

I won't be using them again. One hand doesn't know what the other is doing I'm afraid.
We look at them, they look through them.

We have data this end and can see that Wiseman Windows is in fact a window cleaning supplier/competitor to Grippatank.....not a good move to post in this way.

True,

However they have stated a fact, so what’s the problem unless you think that’s fake

I’d say Wiseman Windows, competitor or not, is doing the forum members a favour by letting us know there may be issues there.

It is public information, after all.

There is always a bigger picture, accessing this information is certainly public information, promoting this information without knowing the full story on a forum in my opinion is not a good move.

Be nice if Grippa posted some kind of defense/explanation, even if they cannot go in to much detail because of legal issues.

People generally seem happy with their systems but have problems trying to order things from them.

Issues or not I’ve personally had nothing but a good experience dealing with them,I’ve mailed Oliver when I’ve had little niggles with things and he’s got straight back to me.
