STOLEN EXTREME 25-47 EXTENSION
« on: October 31, 2019, 05:05:03 pm »
Hi all, a bit of help required! I used this extension on a job Monday morning. As I undid the extension to put the pole back in my van, I left it on the floor and very cleverley drove off.
I've only realised today when I needed the extension.
It was stolen in Stockport town centre but if anybody is approached, or if anyone sees it online, please please let me know.
It cost a small fortune and I'm absolutely gutted.
Can't currently afford to replace it.

I’m a local Stockport window cleaner pal and I’ll keep my ears to the ground,
From your post are you saying you left it behind on a job or it was stolen from the van?
Is it worth going back see if there’s cctv, maybe Somone picked it up after you went and didn’t think much of it not being in the trade?

Thanks for the replies chaps. Yeah I left it outside the van and drove off. It's not where I left it so somebody has it! I reckon the best chance I've got of finding it is if that person approaches another window cleaner to try and sell it. Bloody gutted, I've never left anything behind before.

Feel for you pal but I don't really class that as stolen. You left it behind. Anybody could have picked it up thinking it was a handy tube they they could use or something. Could be kids wanting a light saber. Anything. Finders keepers. I'm not saying I would have taken it but if you leave something in a town centre then it's quite probable someone is gonna pick it up. I doubt they even know what it is.

Remote possibility - might it have been handed in to one of the businesses near where you left it?

Long shot I know.

Go back to where you were and knock on doors, asking if anyone local may have picked it up. You never know.

Without being rude it wasn’t stolen you left it behind , an expensive mistake and sorry to hear this has happened ,but I think your post and heading is very misleading .

Look for a council street cleaner who works in the town center. He/she may be able to shed some light on it.

I left a telescopic ladder once on the street. I went back later for it once I realised. Needless to say , it was no longer there and somebody had found it. Not stolen, my own stupid fault.

Sorry don't mean that to sound harsh, but thats life.

I once left half of my xtreme 47 at a job! Went back the next day and it was gone!! Asked the site to check their cctv but I left it under the camera 🤦🏼‍♂️ Anyway 4 months later I walked past a restaurants back doors and out of the corner of my eye spotted my pole!!! (Knew it was mine as the clamps were taped on  ;D) walked in and took it  :D

Worse thing worse they replaced the brush head for a brick of a brush and horrible tubing!! My nice Gardiner head and univalve had gone  :'(

But just glad to get sections 1 to 4 back 😁

I left my Brodex pole behind once and found it clamped into the scaffolding on a building site.
