To all those who use Tubless kits, Ive tried using the most expensive Rectus 21 fittings to the cheapest and they dont last long at all, infact my last one only a month. what am i doing wrongany advice gentsCheers Dazzler
Is it exceeds kit or DIY?, if exceeds, it uses a connector protector that's supposed to stop premature damage to the fitting when it gets dropped or dragged on floor.
What’s happening to them? I use a tubeless set up without the protective cover, and the rectus fitting is safe inside the pole when I am working then I take the loose end to the van when reeling in so it’s not dragging on the ground. They last 6-12months. And I buy the genuine Parker brand fittings...
I haven’t used rectus fittings for ages , complete waste of time & money and aren’t suitable for our job otherwise they wouldn’t break so often. Iv changed fittings to JG fittings and haven’t replaced it since I put it on in January for about £5 on ebay

They are good fittings but not designed to be taken off 40 times a day , Gardiners sell them for £1 a go I think so much cheaper than eBay , I like the idear of using them but cannot see how it would work unless you have hose tails out of the bottom of the pole then it catches every time you extend it I did try that a few years ago
