new gardiner brush inserts, top service from Alex G
« on: September 09, 2019, 09:56:11 am »
Put my order in Friday got my new xtreme today all great, go to build it up and put my 3mm pencil jets in then realise I have the new Style brushes and I ordered it with fan jets but I always order a set of 3mm pencil jets to put in as well but now I can’t fit them so I’m stuck with a useless brush until I spend another £6-7 for pencil jet inserts that I’ve already just spent £3 on brass pencil jets plus I’ll have to pay postage now >:(
Surely it should say on the pole ordering page when you do the drop down boxes and you’d think if they’re picking the order someone would think whys this guy ordering old brass jets when they’re not compatible.
Maybe the website needs updating to say the brush on the pole drop down menus is the new type insert.
I’m stuck with a brush doing nothing now until I make my next order as I’m not paying more postage for some jets ???

£16 for a set of these plastic 3mm pencil jets delivered tomorrow plus £3 wasted on a set of redundant brass ones now too!!
I’m not paying that until I have to put another order in so this new brush can go in the cupboard, shame as this ultimate flocked actually looks pretty good

Drill some holes to fit the jets you want to use ?

Just thinking that looking at it, might have to pull some bristles out as the holes so big for these plastic inserts, what a shame though!

Hi mufcglen

We are in the middle of switching all brushes across to this new jet system. So this does mean that any brush ordered with a  pole would need to be checked on the brush pages to see what type of jets they are being sold with.

Unfortunately on the website software it is not possible to differentiate the brush types and get a different jet option brought up (it is technically possible but would need a whole new website constructing - this would take 8-10 months and by that time all the brushes would have switched over  ;D )

To resolve this for you I will get a set of 3mm Jet Capsule jets sent out to you as a Gesture of Goodwill.

The fulfillment team would not notice anything odd in your ordering the older style brass jets as many thousands of clients are working with both types of brushes.

Absolutely fantastic Alex, like I said there’s nothing on the drop down menu on the xtreme pole options, hopefully you can resolve that soon for others like myself who like to have 2 sets of jets.
Just fitted the inserts and although I won’t use fans much they certainly look interested and other time I think when users like myself who keep 4-5 gardiner brushes will be good to swap out when needed!!

i was frustrated by similar myself when i ordered a couple of new brushes. fortunately I had another order i needed a few weeks later so i put them in with that, but it wasn't clear what i needed from the website and was frustrating.
