personally from my experience i think xtreme poles should only be used with xtreme brushes,no daft pole tap at the top(ive used them myself before now!
) and preferably with a carbon gooseneck and univalve.this makes the pole unbelievably light and rigid.
any heavier brushes/plastic goosenecks/valves,etc should only be used on more robust SLX poles IMO......
you might not think a few grams here and there makes a difference BUT IT DOES WHEN EXTENDING A POLE AT AWKWARD ANGLES OVER EXTENSIONS,ETC because of lateral pressure and gravity,this puts extra strain on both the pole sections and yourself.....
