I have the 25ft hi-mod and have had it since November and still think it’s a really good pole. I use it just like I did my slx and still ok so far. Clamp system is really good and the inserts really do work and reduce wear on pole as my hands are not black at the end of the day. The gooseneck system is good too although I still use the gardiners swivel neck as facelift haven’t produced one yet. The hi-mod is even lighter than the extreme equivalent not much but still lighter although the carbon 25ft facelift is actually slightly heavier than the 25ft gardiners slx I believe.

I don’t have the complete pole but have an xtreme that was spinning and fitted a set of phantom clamps too and it’s renewed the pole, was only gonna use it for a month or two to see what the clamps was like but I’ve carried on using it as it feels so good!
The pole must be wearing less with these clamps now too as I’m barely getting any carbon hand like I did with the smart clamps.

Got an 18. Love it.
 No more sinning clamps.!!!!!!
Only problem I have had, is clamps slipping off. I guess its due to banging them closed. Only does it every few months. takes seconds to re fit.
No wear on carbon. No carbon marks on hands. Sections arnt quite as strong as gardiner but very close. Only a problem if over extended. You can hear it creek
