I'd ask everyone a question for a change.
« on: August 09, 2019, 12:22:05 am »
Thought I'd ask everyone  a question  for a change.
Know there are a few devices that help lift poles to help take the weight of the poles as you use them.
Although from what can see they are mostly high even look as though it might catch over head.
And as some people have said they look ridicules ,not cool etc.
So asking if there was a device to lift poles what would you like it to have in way of looking better.
While not having all over head stuff on it?
Anyone thoughts??

I think you need to be clearer  ???

Do you mean the handles Gardiners have for their top of the range poles? Came out a couple of years back. I’ve never seen anyone use them.
Ultimate control bars.

If so, then I’d say most of us don’t need them. I think they are meant for the really high reach stuff probably fifty feet or more. I don’t need them and couldn’t be bothered to fit them/ remove them for storage.

This is what it's about below video has anyone seen anything better then this to help lift poles to make it easier to use poles.
This video is in Dutch so you might want turn the volume down when looking at it.
But gives you an idea what it's about.
So has anyone seen anything better that does the same thing.

So anyway getting back on the subject at hand.
Does anyone know of any other device that would help in lifting the pole?

95% of us will be residential cleaners with maybe the odd commercial job

Its just not needed in the U.K except for maybe a select few who do high rise work and i suspect abseiling would be a better option at that height

We regularly use a pole at 8 floors and don’t have a problem holding it , I do a full mornings work like that without any problem, once you are used it it it’s ok , but a different technique is required  .

Not talking about how the pole is held.
But lifting the pole UP/DOWN to scrub the glass.
Asking is the a better solution to this, then the device in this video.

No mate , as far as I am aware , in order for something to lift the pole for you it usually has to be above you , so I guess you could say...........
  “ WELL , THAT’S ABOUT IT “
