Do you pack up as quick as possible or do you carry on and risk it?

It only takes one set of solar panels to put you off! Had a dodgy one in jan2018 and that was enough for me.

Pack up and flee. I saw (and very definitely heard) a lightning strike about 50 metres from me last year.... and man oh man.... scary. Anyone daft enough to wave a pole around while there's electrical storms around them are voluntarily thinning the herd and signing up for the Darwin Awards.
The good thing about science is that it's true whether you believe it or not.

I meant to mention this on here last week. I was cleaning a set of solar panels last week on a residential house roof. Whilst up there I hooked a few handfuls of sludge out the gutters. Whilst doing this I was getting quite a strong tingle, which was felt worse where I had cuts on my hands. I twas quite a healthy tingle, definitely noticeable.

I kept getting little electric shocks/tingles down my right arm as i was poling these array of solar panels a few years ago....never had them since though on other solar units....
