do it yourself signage best sites?

company's wanting £350+ vat don't fancy spending £1000+ as have a couple.some also said £60 p/h for art work ...
heard it can be done online building yourself.
Has anyone got a company they could recommend that also supply's images on their site?

People per hour.com is a good site for things like this, I’ve used it a few times and always been happy.

Edit: for getting the artwork done.

£60 per hour ! robbing barstewards. I thought it was only window cleaners with heated seats that earnt that much.

This was done online with The Signbuilder cost me about £100 with the fitting kit I think

Dont underestimate the difficulty, I struggled. It sticks and it's not coming off. Use soapy water so you can reposition it if you go wrong.

Yeah cheers mate sod paying a grand. Will have to get my thumb out and do some DIY.

Yep. And do it when its warm if you don't have an indoor garage which you can heat.

It not as easy as the DIY signage firms make it out to be.  When I was in the trade a customer sent decals for 3 x LWB vans he had ordered. The decals arrived in the afternoon and the van were due out the following morning. I stayed behind in the workshop to stick those decals on as we couldn't find anyone to do it at short notice.
I finished just after midnight.
Success is 1% inspiration, 98% perspiration and 2% attention to detail!

The older I get, the better I was ;)

Personally i found putting decals on the van a pieceof cake. Use water with fairy liquid in it prior to applying, that way you can re-position them before it sll sticks.

Then leave. Its easy.
