 HI just noticed tds gone up to 012 anyone cleaned at this reading as only use up to 002 before. Ordering resin now but tuesday  delivery so can i use this water at 012 for monday  tuesday ... first time i have got caught  out like this.   THANKS

have cleaned with higher and depending on how hot the weather you can get some spotting

thats great news. ive just moved to new premises and my TDS straight from the RO is 7so i guess i no longer need to spend on resin

I've always read it depends what the PPM is made up of.

So 15ppm after RO in a soft water area will be better than say 15ppm in a hard water area.

Me personally i don't use above 005pm and my franchisee's only use 000-001ppm

Same, no resin.
Water goes in at near 300 and comes out at 006, so no resin needed.  Used it this way for close to two years or so

I try to keep the TDS at zero but don't care when the resin is used up and it creeps up as long as it is in single figures by the time I change it to bring it to zero again.

A couple of times I've left it late and it's been coming out at 15 or 16 as that is what the RO typically produces but I'd use that for a few days until I changed the resin if I needed to..

I just searched this forum yesterday for an answer as mine is at 006 at the moment. The highest I've let it slip to but after trying it out on the hydrophilic house windows and hydrophobic garage windows and inspecting the result I'm happy enough for the time being.
Do a test on your own to give you peace of mind.

I always check my tds every day  now after filling  up as part of my end of day jobs after being caught out myself with a tds of 32 a few years ago now....

012 should be ok for a few days...

Fook, I was at 36 one afternoon and chucked it after filling a backpack which is when I thought oooh I'll check the tds! Only one complaint about marks on hoppers next time round (I hadn't cleaned the hoppers but my side of the road was spot free from where I was standing). That's the second time in a few years that's happened, last being a full day of 8 weeklys at 42!

Im shocked, i used to let it goto 10 but when you look close or have direct sunlight when it dries that much quicker i found i got spotting, now using spotless water and always at 000 i never have any spotting problems at all.
