What software (if Any)
« on: June 09, 2019, 04:24:52 pm »
Hi
I’ve had a cleaning business for 5 years.
But over that time I’ve focused more on window cleaning.
SET UP 400 litre double di system. From Varitec.
My dilemma.
I have 150 domestic  customers and 20 commercial.
It generates me around the 5 grand per month  give or take.on a 4/8 weekly rotation.
When I’ve done the clean I mark in the diary the next clean works well for me.
What I need advice on would it be worth my while switching to cleaner planner, and is it easy to work with and how does it work.
I ask the question because 170 jobs  have I got enough customers to justify it.
Many thanks

I think the basic package would be of benefit and not too costly per month - however if your not intending to expand any further and its all working well as you currently do it - don't change!

You may also want to have a look at 'Aworka'.
I have around 300 customers and it works well for me.
In addition, Chris (who runs it) is extremely helpful.

I still use George. Cheap and cheerful and does what I need.

It doesn't have any text functionality or emailing invoices ? Purely just organising right since its offline.

That's true, but I only have about five formal invoices a month which I raise in MS Word and email. Quite a few businesses are happy with my standard "We've cleaned today, please pay up" slips that I leave upon completion.

It's fine for me and its reports serve as the basis of my tax returns.

We use aworka and xero for vat.
Aworka is great, too early to pass judgement on xero.
