The forecast in my region is rain, rain and..... that's right, more rain all week!
Some may argue, they have enough money in the bank not to worry about it. That's fine!  However I don't wish to have money in the bank, in order to cover the bills just because its raining for a week.  I have money in the bank for bills and the rest is for...... Well non of ya business but it sure ain't to cover   bills on a rainy day  ;D

Some will be pacing, worrying when the endless rain will stop because they will fall behind with their working routine.   Again, I don't have to worry about this.

Some may say it isn't a problem and they can reschedule their routine. I say, why change the routine, I don't  ;D

If it rains too heavy and for a long duration, we'll you all know the solution,  I jump in the van and carry on working  ;D ;D

It depends how heavy it is in your area compared to mine doesn't it!
Can you not even do half a day?  I'm sure you could. So I don't mind being judged as a numpty by some on here who I don't even know 😂, but who's the one earning and who's not.........

Sean, isn't it time you gave it a rest with your pointless attacks yet.   What does part-time hours have to do with anything?  Especially when I've stated many times, that I take off the time that I wish, rather than the weather dictating it.
Look, you want to stay out the water, so be it.

Is it not time to give it a rest with your pointless wibble, most of us will work between showers and in light rain and to miss the odd day when its heavy wont make much if any difference on our yearly targets, wibbling on about digging into savings and not earning just describes a person working hand to mouth.

Are you banned from other forums mate, or don't you use them?   Not many will work in between showers or even attempt to go out, they look at the forecast and reside to the fact its going to rain all day or all week.
My post is opposite to suggesting  hand to mouth with the savings Sean. You seem to always consider things from one way, your way. It seems very closed minded to me.
Anyway, time to jump back out the van and continue cleaning........ How about you buddy?  Tucked up at home sucking on lemons ready for your next negative encounters

No its dry here today Nathan, infect I could count the number of times Iv missed cleaning this year due to heavy rain on one hand, if you are going to wibble about what guys are saying on other forums then don't get upset if guys on this one don't know what you are going on about.

Plus if guys on other forums don't need to work between showers and light rain then fair play to them, I'm certainly not going to brag because I have to.

Let's just remind ourselves, that this topic is called:
"so glad I don't work in the rain!"

My post was in line with this but in direct conflict.
Then, this was posted

So glad I do work in the rain
 ;D ;D
Why ?
I don't understand . There is nothing to be glad about surely ?

So I went on to answer said question.
It really is that simple, if ones don't like my answers, then don't post questions or negative remarks to my posts which begs for a response.

I agree with Nathan.

"I can't work in this" is mostly in your head

Full day yesterday and will be a full day today.

And tomorrow

I want the days off i choose not the days off I am forced to have.

So many of you lot on this forum are a bunch of wet pansies seriously.

Why would you let something as miniscule as rain affect your earnings.  I don’t let rain affect how much i want to earn in a year or let it affect our schedule at allz

If you lot want to stay at home and watch daytime tv then thats fine.

I however don’t let rain decide when i can or cant work.  I work when i want all year round no exceptions unless i decide to take time off for holidays or sickness etc.

Can’t understand why there are so many of you on this forum that would happily lose possibly 1-2 weeks of earnings per year due to rain.

Theres my rant for the month.

Nathan im with you on this one 100%, dont listen to any of em.

Its pi$$ing down here in North Wales i aint coming home until we’ve done atleast £400!!  Got to save for a lambo one day at a time.  ;D ;D

It's not about losing one or two weeks a year it's about losing customers period.
Tried it before on the round that is literally outside my door....122 houses in total.....on average every other one that was in  asked me not to do them and some of the others weren't happy.
You can't educate them when they don't want them doing when it's raining....that day it was sort of in between light and heavy rain but no wind so it was noticeably raining.
If I wasn't a window cleaner I wouldn't want them doing either.
Impossible done straight away, miracles can take a little longer.

For me its simple, working in heavy rain is not only miserable but it makes the working day much harder, if I wanted a job where I needed to do a 40 hour week all year round then I would have stayed in a factory but as I don't then it makes sense to work when the conditions are more pleasant and easier, Nathan K is well known for making things as hard as possible so it doesn't surprise anybody that this would include working in weather conditions that he doesn't need to be working in.

Yet that's what a lot of us are doing, so it shows it can be done. I've done so for last four years and not lost a customer due to it yet and any new customer gets told I work in the rain

I don’t believe you work in the rain Nathan. In fact, you spend so much time during working hours on here, that I’m not sure you work at all.
