Interesting thread, maybe for new one?
So, how do you guys price up your Jobs, either windows or any of the various add on jobs?
A). Per individual job?
B). Windows-- price per window?
C). Work to earn £ per hour basis?
D). Base rate for particular jobs and then add £ per
variable on top
On some of the threads, many have touched on pricing strategies,
Myself, for windows I have a base rate, ie minimum price and this is for a basic two up two down house. For conservatories I add an extra min charge of £5 on top for a small two side conservatory. A larger three side accessible to clean is £10 min add on.
I then add extra for more windows, access to windows ect etc.
Add on jobs, pressure washing for instance, I don't charge per metre square. I have a base rate in mind, for various size drives based on time to clean and then I add pending various factors.
In additional jobs etc, I always factor in material costs/business costs as well. (only me tion this as I have seen adverts on Facebook and the likes and you wonder how they meet their business costs on such quotes that have been given, never mind a business profit)
