It's easy enough to set up the tubless system with a univalve ( I'm assuming your going to use a univalve) so that you can swap over a gooseneck without too much hassle, a little bit fiddly but I would say 3-4 minutes less with a bit of practice. The issue you will have is when you add new sections, now bear with me when I try to explain this.
Setting up a pole with the univalve will have you put the valve and the end stop and the male rectus fitting in to the small section, with this done you will put a spacer on to the small section, so that when you slide it back in to the rest of the pole, the male rectuse fitting ends up about three inches up from the bottom of the pole internaly, with an exceed ejector sleeve fitted to the end of your reel hose, push this up the pole and it connects easily enough.
If you put extra sections on, you will increase the distance of the male rectus fitting from the bottom of the pole, which may make it difficult to make the connection. The hose may get a bit wobbly also you will have to stretch the hose a lot harder to get your fingers around the ejector sleeve to disconect.
If you add sections, you could make new spacers to keep the male rectus fitting the same distance from the bottom of the pole.
I hope this helps
