I have several takes on it, the first being that it sets the mind set of the customer that you are running a legit business. It's not for beer money or dole money etc and you therefore have set your stall out straight away.
They may read it, they may not, but you can always refer back to it if need be., ie locked gates and why you've charged what you have for instance.
It's another notch to being/having a professional touch about it. Like I said prior, I get positive feedback from it as well.

But seriously, I take pride in being my own boss and running my own company for x number of years. Yes do a good job for a fair price and many won't care other than that, but I like to go that little bit further and give that little bit extra.
If we are just window licker then does it matter if we debate the use of hot water or cold or which brush does that little bit better etc etc or which pump to use or jets etc etc, when at the end ofthe day the customer doesn't give a flying uck as long as the window is clean, so why do ones care if its a scruff in trackie bottoms, beer can in hand, fAg in the other as long as he turns up every 4wks n they can see outthe window
