Any loosing to brexit? Residential
« on: May 15, 2019, 12:12:02 pm »
Just been doing a wall render clean and patio clean for my polish customer who's putting their house on the market and moving back to Poland. This is mostly due to Brexit, which is a shame as they are a great family and customer. In fact, some of my best/friendliest customers are Polish, but these are the first ones I've found moving back so far.
Anyone else loosing customers due to brexit?  (not commercial work tho)

There'll be an SLXodus, I tell thee.
It's not affected me but I believe that Stirlingshire has been hit the hardest.
But as you say, Nate, it's a shame when you hear how the uncertainty has affected some.

No, me neither.
I think Poland has better opportunities now so some will go back.

It's losing not loosing. Losing means to lose something (like you lose a customer) unintentionally.

Loosing means you intentionally let something go.
It's a game of three halves!

Actually last September I lost someone in a different business context. They went back to Bulgaria after 6 years.

Only difference I've noticed in the saffff east is houses selling slower. Oh! And I've got two new Hungarian neighbours.

Why are they going back to Poland because of Brexit?

Because they’re being vilified by the proletariat. I blame Farage innit.
