Snapped Phantom section
« on: May 13, 2019, 09:41:46 am »
So I’ve just snapped section 0 of my phantom hi-mod 25 on the very first job 😡 completely my fault as it slipped out my hand while doing sills over a roof and hit the tiles so £144 later for one section and great start to the week I’m back to the slx 25 workhorse for the day and I’m sure my arms will notice the difference later.

cant you slide section 1 of your SLX into your phantom pole?...save buying a new section......this is what i did with my xtreme when i snapped section 2.....

the problem with the high mod poles is brittle sections 1 and 2....they wear down really quickly, ive replaced mine with SLX sections but kept 3/4/5 xtreme.....hardly any extra weight but more hardwearing...... :)
price higher/work harder!

Different size sections and won’t fit as I did try that straight away. It wasn’t because of worn down section it was completely my fault and the force I hit the roof with 🙄

sections 1 and 2 on high mod poles dont last long though......normally they are wafer thin and brittle after a year ive found, thats why ive replaced them with slx sections, much more hardwearing.....3/4/5  hi mod sections last much longer.....

£145 for one section sounds pricey. Can’t remember paying that much for an Extreme section.

I know £120+vat For the replacement section, trouble is they are more expensive than extremes in the first place

I thought this thread was going to be about anomalous encounters captured on camera whilst out and about cleaning. I have had many ghostly sightings in my 7 years cleaning. I once encountered a ghostly child ascending a staircase in an old Victorian cottage in the depths of Sussex.
Soz to bust in on the thread but thought it interesting to mention.

Ever caught one on camera?
