Initially this is pretty amazing and hat off to the chap.
But, really, working seven days a week at his age and only xmass off.

It’s not a necessity for him, it’s his hobby as much as his job, he’d probably drop down dead if he gave up...

Good on him.
I can't help looking in his bucket and what's in there. I noticed he's got a specialist product to remove yellow staining from white window sills.

Can't believe all the smug replies, well actually I take that back, it's expected on this forum  ;D
So, you lot are telling me that you would be happy working on the glass from 14yrs of age upto 81yrs n older, working all day every day for 7 days and only have one day off for xmass!  Get real, most moan if they have to work five full days on here 😂 never mind not having anything better to do in live by time you've reached 60 n older ie, family, friends, hobbies, holidays, days out and the like

It's his life and choice, let him get on with it.

It’s a choice I think.

No one “has” to work at that age. Even basic pension is enough to survive on.

Smug replies? I didn’t see many  ??? ?

I guess if you don’t have a cracking pension or a gorgeous girlfriend at home then he probably enjoys his work. Gets him out of the house and into the community. Not my cup of tea but then I’m not quite eighty yet.
I’d rather spend my days glued to a window cleaning forum.

I wouldn’t want to be working anything more than part time when I’m past 60, I would not want to be working at all at 80!! but fair play and respect to him

If I'm still physically able by the time I'm 80 I'd be quite happy doing a bit of window cleaning. Probably a maximum of half a dozen bungalows per day a couple of days a week. Good for both your mental & physical health and much better than sitting at home just watching telly all day (which some of my customers do!)

FULL retirement is only for people that hate their jobs, are too ill or worn out to carry on or work very stressful, demanding jobs IMO.....

if the old chap is working 7 days a week(i doubt that very much)then hes a workaholic who needs help.......that IS excessive!  :o

As long as he (and all of us) are happy in what we are doing, what does it matter?
