I like the look of these jet capsules - hopefully all brushes will be able to take them

by the looks of it you push them in a twist 90 degrees to lock in place - a nice feature if I'm correct

Darran

That is the idea - push in, twist 45° clockwise and they lock in place.

All of our brushes (bar the Micro-brush) will gradually change over to these in time.

It's not the first time a quick-release jet has been used on brushes, but these are unique with their compact size, choice of jet types, colour coding and push-fit tube connections.

Bring it on! - when are they going to be available ?

Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience

Hi Alex,

What’s the overall use for these over normal jets?

Thanks!

They will function and spray/jet water exactly the same as our current jets - so in terms of effect on window cleaning there is no change  :)

The benefits are in the ability to quickly fit to a brush with no need to be hammered in. They will also be very quick to swap over or change if needed. They also will be much quicker to connect or disconnect from the jet hose and easier to blow through if dirt gets into the jet.

The  2mm, 3mm & 1.4mm Pencil Jet versions are available for purchase now and there are two brushes now being sold that can use them - the 26cm Universal Sill Medium-Soft brush & the 35cm Universal Sill Medium-Soft brush.

More brushes will follow as we roll out the system.

The Widget is still a few weeks away  :)

In the winter the jets seem to freeze first and I’m wondering if it’s because they get cold being metal? Plastic might stop them from freezing.....

I've been using plastic jets which simply lock into the brush for about two years now, on my stream line brush.
They are So simple to use and swap out or change the configuration. Or even to unblock.

However, these seem smaller and you have more variety of jet size and fans. If universal, then I will be very interested

For a moment I got excited and thought this was finally an option of four jets in the standard size brush. :(

Then I realised this brush is the larger version.

Just bought a Gardiner rinse bar to see how that goes. I do feel 3 or 4 jets in a brush is ideal though.

Interesting how we’re all different, I actually prefer two 3mm jets over a rinse bar or 4 jets.

Though I do use 4 jets with the xtreme wide brush. Given the width it’s necessary.

Never tried 3 jets! Could imagine one extra jet in the middle being mildly beneficial, but not something I think I’d ever need.
