Card readers

Does anyone know of a way of taking card payments that has no monthly fee?

I've looked online but most seem to be monthly fee plus transaction fee. Cheapest I've seen is £20 a month plus vat which is too much for what i want it for. I probably wouldn't break even on that

Just wondered if there was a reader or app or some way of processing card payments that was like a PAYG service.

Not bothered if the transaction fee is higher just don't want a monthly thing.

I've only been asked a handfull of times but I think it would be a useful option to take card payments, great for first cleans or maybe cash payers that havent got money on them that day etc

Sum up!
No monthly fee / subscription.
Just a small 1.69% fee per transaction and its paid I to your account in two days.
Below link will get a £14 discount as you pay a small amount for the unit it self and away you go...

Thanks Nathan

I think I will order that.

How does it work exactly, says it connects to your phone via bluetooth so what do you actually do? Do you have an app on your phone or something ?

Cheers

Yep, it's sum up, all the details come with it.
But, basically you connect to the device via Blue tooth using the app on your phone.
You also need obviously to turn location on and mobile data.
Enter the price your charging on your phone, the machine then shows the amount and awaits either contact less tap from card or enter card and use chip n pin.
You then have the option to send a receipt to their mobile or email address,  ut most just want to skip this as it will show on their statements anyway.
