No wonder he struggles with his physique wearing out if this is how he works.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YIn5eBo0Ttw

this is what happens to window cleaners who stay trad and dont up their prices EVER.......

they have to work twice as quick to make the same money as they did 30 years ago..... ;D

Looks like a cowboy 🤠 to me. Does this chap even scrub the whole window  ???
No wonder the shops are only paying him 10 cents each

the uni valve is a great idea......im still using my first one from years ago day in/day out.....

webasto diesel heaters adapted for WFP with frost stat (plumbed into your vehicles fuel tank) is another...

gardiner carbon fibre poles, very light gardiner brushes, electric reels have all developed over the last few years to make our job easier and quicker...

if you dont oversoak your T mop in the first place then you dont get a wet leg.....i only use my BOAB  for a few jobs a month and its fine..... also if you have a short belt loop(the grey boab from screwfix is great) it doesnt bang into your leg when walking

your looking for problems that dont exist IMO......

Like do you remember having to screw your Water fed brushes onto your pole that was not a problem??
Why because no one knew any better to do it this way at the time.

yes i do...the quickloc is far better......did you invent the quickloc idea then herman?
Did not invent the quick lock idea.
Why because the quick lock idea had been out there for probably don't know 100 years or more.
Just adapted it to the brush and pole connection.
Probably nearly everyone here has used /seen this connection at least once in the life.
And yes also remembered everyone took the  P!$$ out of me then also.
Luckily there were some people that thought it might be a good idea to have on there WFPs.
So two manufactures have made them based on this video below. Done July  2012.
Screw in Quick Release Connection WFP SETUP Brush To Angle Adapter.=

Come on guys, give the chap a break. If you don't like his posts then don't open them, simples.

This, ( and it may have escaped your notice ) is a forum - anything posted is up for debate and discussion

IMO - much of HMan's stuff is now outdated and not relevant to modern window cleaning - and in many of these cases its because they have already been put into action by manufacturers so there is no need to keep revisiting something thats been solved

as for quick-loc - I hate them - much prefer to screw the Bruch head on - so ive tried it, it didn't work for me - thats my experience and I'm happy to express that

one of the problems with the likes of Hman is they think they have invented or found something new everyday and want to shout about it all the time but when pitfalls are pointed out they refuse to even consider other peoples points of view - they resort to the defensive position that us the great unwashed just don't understand and can only take the p!$$ because were not capable of understanding the beauty of their latest world changing creation

Omg your talking about yourself right? Your stuck in the 90’s running around at your age with a squeegee  ::)roll
Maybe try and embrace the wfp method instead of trying to preach traditional methods to water fed polers  ???
I’m sure your a nice guy but your talking to the wrong audience, CIU is primarily wfp users

no , in the UK 🇬🇧 we generally do not want inside cleaning jobs , nor do the majority of the residential customers.

Because most of the Johhny Come Latelys haven't got a clue how to use a squeegee. WFP is a piece of pish and that is why every town is saturated with window cleaners. Ask them to go up a ladder and it's err too dangerous for me guv.
We look at them, they look through them.

My point in a nutshell - ANYONE that has a different opinion to you is ANTI change - shame YOU have such a closed mind that you can't look forward and bring genuine new ideas to the forum

I did inside today ( I didn’t need ladders , I don’t know what bungle is on about  ??? ).
Horrible job , the customer is from Abroad and used to hot temperatures so they have it 50° inside, radiators on full blast even when it’s 20° outside- absolutely roasting I had to take my hoody off as I was sweating like fck. They knew I was coming but still had 20 plant pots on every window sill , cat in the way , coffee tables in the way.
I just buy what I need , not spend time faffing about with zip ties and crap to save 50p. Just start pricing jobs properly h man , then you can buy proper equipment.

Yes I am.....ive been window cleaning for 26 years now(17 yrs trad/9 WFP).....

I just find it easier to avoid/refuse inside work these days.i don't want the work....

I'm happy with a quick turn up and clean WFP  job then move onto my next job.....

Most customers don't want the inside windows cleaning in the UK.....

One day you'll have that much regular no hassle outside window cleaning work that you ll pass on the inside jobs.....

I just tell them to ask their house cleaners to do them and that my insurance doesn't cover inside work....👍😎

I always hated cleaning insides and having to pre arrange/book em in.it can be a pain in the arse.....same with gutter clearing,I always hated that too so I don't offer it as a service anymore....👍

I don't care about the money.i would still refuse....

I'd rather lose the job than clean insides(and I have lost the odd job here and there because I wouldn't clean insides)

The most important thing to me these days is a happy chilled low hassle work day.....sod the money....I earn enough with having to clean insides
