Hi All.

Does anyone know what kind of connector I need to be able to make this water outlet a proper tap? i.e. connect it to blue water pipe and run that up the wall to a tap?

Put a 90° elbow on and length of 15mm pipe and an outdoor tap. It may be easier to remove the valve, put a soldered elbow on, then put a roller valve inline before the tap. Fyi a roller valve is the same as what you have there, but instead of the lever its operated by a countersunk screw.

You'll need PTFE tape.

That solution will leave the tap quite proud of the wall but if you can live with it you won't have to remove anything or solder joints, etc.

Vin - The problem I have is the outlet is currently near the floor so I need to run some blue water pipe up the wall from the outlet to a tap. I’m just wondering what connector I need on the current outlet to attach some blue pipe to it?

The thread should be a standard 3/4 bps thread - does it matter it’s near the ground ? Put a hose lock fitting on it to take a hose pipe job done - threres already a tap on the outlet for turning on/off

OK. By "blue pipe", do you mean MDPE pipe? That's meant for underground fitting.

You might be better off with one of these:
