How much water are you getting through?
« on: April 18, 2019, 08:38:03 am »
Just checked mine and it’s 134 cubic metres for the last tax year, down on last year prob due to less hours and no gutter cleans. £350 roughly.

Don’t you claim for water usage?

I’m not too sure tbh ! Il have to check with my accountant, I just tell him what my water bill is, whether he uses it or not is another thing  :-\

If you are on a flat rate for water with no water meter then you can't claim it. That's the answer I got from the Receiver.

Less these days than ever, many days I'm only using 250/300 ltrs! Uni-valve most probably the main factor.

Approx 11 cubic metres per month.

(That’s total usage, including RO waste water)

God knows, quite a lot

I pay about £150 a month on my water bill, at a guess that would be about £100 for window cleaning.

About 4-5000 l a week I reckon.

that doesnt seem right adam......i claim £30 a month for expenses for water usage for window cleaning so around £360 a year.....im on a meter and DI only....I use around 1800-2000L a week

i dont understand how your bill could be £1200 a year just for window cleaning even if your using an RO......

price higher/work harder!

Well it's £150 a month ish, I think it was £127 but went up recently so something like that.

That's for a house with 4 of us and including the window cleaning.

We do have a lot of baths to be fair lol

I use about 500l a day probably 4 days a week and my R.O is set to 60/40 so be knocking on for 5000l of water used a week.

I'll have to check actually, I was paying about 50 but got in arrears when I moved in as it was estimated for the first 6 months so I don't know what the actual useage is.

£50 a month for the whole bill.. house and work.  I only fill 1 x 600l tank a week so its only about a extra bath a day.
