mines nowhere near that much and its  the highest payload connect with all the extras(limited) £215 including VAT a month(less than a days earnings a month)

its worth it just for the sheer joy of no MOTS for 3 years and no breakdowns!and of course  driving about in a nice shiny new van with air con and heated seats....its great...

just put some customers prices up to cover the rental...thats what i did.....i have no regrets and i still love driving it....it still puts a grin on my face and i often get comments off customers of how smart and professional it looks....

My quote was £2000 upfront then £255 all in with top spec custom 4 years and 8000 a year also 750 Cashback

3 months rental so just over £600 (5 year lease)with the option to pay the balloon at the end of the contract and keep the van,hand it back and get another one or sell it myself and pay the balloon payment(7k)

According to those figures it will cost Daz £20,545 in total if he chooses to pay the balloon payment and keep the van. (Probably best if he keeps it).

Buying a depreciating asset is never the smartest move, even worse when you add on finance interest and fees that leasing has.

Lease a van by all means, but dont pretend its the smartest move.

just put some customers prices up to cover the rental...thats what i did.....i have no regrets and i still love driving it....it still puts a grin on my face and i often get comments off customers of how smart and professional it looks....

Daz, I’ve had a transit custom for years with heated seats etc etc, woopy doo, stop going out your way to mention your heated seats 😂

You literally spend every opportunity possible to mention your vans heated seats!

I agree with Adam though, I hate the thought of shelling out 300 odd a month for something I don’t own. So I bought a 2 1/2 year old transit custom limited outright. Saved a fortune and no monthly payments what so ever. Oh, forgot to mention, it’s also got HEATED SEATS. 

The way I see it, I will sell it for ££££ and put that money towards another (newer) second hand transit custom. So basically the initial purchase it a bit of a hit, but then you own a van outright, and can sell it at any time you like, putting that money into a another van that you will own outright. For me, as a sole trader it’s been the best decision. I hate monthly bills.

Totally agree, that's how I buy my Van's.
Also hate monthly Bill's, I'm on a mission this year to reduce our total household and business monthly expenses to the absolute bare minimum.
I recently wiped out nearly all our savings to pay off loans, credit cards, vehicle insurances, taxes, basically anything that can be paid in full, to reduce our 15 monthly direct debits down to 7.
Astonishing it all amounted to £1449 a month, money that has now been diverted to our savings account on top of what we were already saving.
In theory we could completely live off the missus earnings now and save every penny I earn.
Which in theory means the amount we save each year I could easily buy a brand new van outright every year!

i only keep mentioning the heated seats to wind you up mate and it works every time!

i lease my car too,i dont care about "owning" anything really.......itll be going back in another 2 years(ive had my car for a year now)and ill just get another new one....
