I personally don't like or use swivels but accept some do like them , the fitting on the other pole I did that to my alloy poles 20 years ago to remove the applicator  quicker  and stop it falling off the taper fitting , it’s nothing new .
Ime not knocking what you are doing if you have all theses great inventions like the quick lock etc then why not sell the idears to manufacturers ??? You might as well make some money from it rather than them stealing your idears .
Most of our kit in the uk is already tried and tested , reasonably priced , and readily available , it’s easier for us to buy most thing ready made , however I do make ends for my gutter vac to fit certain guttering ,as it works and fits better .

now thats where hman would prove useful - gutter vac'ing is still relatively new and the so called manufacturers are really basically suppliers of bits thrown together - this is an area where development and ideas would be welcomed

Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience

Now never used a gutter vac before.
But do see on videos how people struggle to hold the actual pole when using.
(Now putting this video up just to show you if you put some like this on the pole to make it easier to hold and mauver.)
Did this about 6years ago can see that it might be able to adapt to the larger diameter pole for the vacs?

This one shows us using on pole control handle on large glass.

Also thinking you could put 2 of these on a water fed pole as well.
The beauty is that it will swivel as your using it giving you a more natural movement while using.
Not a fix position on the pole.
We had used it on a trad pole to do shop fronts as well .
Here you judge for yourself.
We only use the one on this pole.
