If you don't have all their numbers ask someone to drive around and put a note in the door explaining that you have broke your leg and so won't be cleaning this windows this month - that gives you time to organise some cover for your round.  It happened me with snowboarding last week (wrist broke a bone - its healing fine), if you're really stuck ask the guys on the forum, someone is bound to be close enough to help out - good luck.

I had 3 briken ribs this time last year and kept  working. I could feel my chest flaping losse and cruching and grinding with every move. So get out there you whimp  ;D ;D

No seriously let them all know and get some help, and hope you have a speedy recovery.

Hi Toff

sorry to hear about your bad news, this gives you something to think about its ok giving ladders up just for safety but we all need to use ladders at some point, flat roofs walls fences access so it could happen to anyone.

Are you wfp or trad?  make sure you put a note through and your customers will be fine or get someone to do your work while you are off

regards

Brett

The loss of earnings is going to hurt more than your leg.
Hope you get well soon, nothing worse than not being able to work.

I would advise posting leaflets to all your customers, then they will know whats happening, dont forget to tug on the hearts of the old dears, and do your best to keep there custom for when you are better, get well soon mate.

Have you tried a skateboard?
Sorry. Naughty of me. Couldn't resist.
Seriously though.  Maybe do a mailshot to your customers?
