(A little context and yes price varies from town to town etc, but its not about that!
I quoted just shy of £200 for a smallish conservatory exterior clean (plus a seperate charge for fascia cleaning). Then a couple of days later, i get this;

I'm willing to bet that there was no other quote they were just trying to get the price down..they will either text back and mess you about before the clean or mess you about on payment..

I wouldn't clean it personally...just the 6th sense kicking in with those texts

Too many 'more than happys' for me but more respect earned for holding out against the one request to budge on price. He sounded relentless, Nathan, but you hung on in there.
Btw, what did the other quoter look like?

Add on jobs are harder work anyway than maintenance window cleaning...sod doing them cheaper than you want for them......

As soon as they grumble about the price I know they’re most likely to not be a long term customer in a lot of cases so I tell them the price is the price and leave it with them, then when they get back asking me to go ahead I drop it on them I’m fully booked and can’t take them on😂
The wife has a go at me for messing people about but they do it to me so I return the favour!!!

The call out was for the conny roof clean. The fascia clean was a last minute add on decided upon whennwe was talking about the initial job.  I did price that quite high because to be fair I didnt want to do that as well 😆      So I dont mind one bit not doing that and it allows me to get off quicker to the next job 

I didnt realise i did this thread for how many times one has to stand their ground. Yes he asked me the once, who is going to keep on asking more than once when a reasonable reply has been given.  Im dealing with an adult not a stroppy teen

Nathan's stance was reminiscent of The Battle of Rorke's Drift, imo.

You went out on “call” and quoted for a canny roof clean, you then had the opportunity to add another service and gain more ££££ while being at one site, no travel, no moving, but instead decided it’s better to overprice it so you didn’t have to clean it but this allowed you to put away all your equipment, travel across town, unload to do another er, job -
