Doing me a favour? Yea right!
« on: March 29, 2019, 01:32:14 pm »
Had a lady come out of a neighbouring house and walked up to me while cleaning.   She said she is going to do me a big favour as she might become a regular customer.

I said " OK let me take a look and give you a price"

"Can I have a free trial clean to see if I like it? "

Her windows were minging and looked like years since last clean.   I said "well, do these two houses I've just done look clean to you?"

"Yes she said but will you give me a free trail please?"

I said " no sorry,  they will be double the price for the first clean due to their condition"

"No thanks" she said, "I will keep looking"

Not being funny but I think I would have said something to her tbh,I’d have gone over gone to get my stuff out the van and when she came out say I got you there didn’t I for a minute you thought I was nearly as stupid as you got back in the van and driven off.

The best free trial is to clean just one pane leaving the rest filthy and giving a price for the remaining windows if they wish.

I saw this done with a pressure washing company once and they wrote something in the filthy driveway with the pressure washer and quoted for the rest haha.
