I popped into a new window showroom today and chatted with the manager about replacement windows.

He gave us a demo and in convo said that we would turn the windows so they can be cleaned.  He went on to say new window cleaners using the poles don't clean the frames and only did the glass.    I asked him to explain and he said the only way to clean frames is with  soap, clothes and elbow grease and laughed.

I then disclosed what I do for a living and told him he was talking rubbish, explained how the wfp worked and ask if he would he like a demonstration to prove him wrong.

He went bright red and said he did not realise.

No wonder the public takes some convincing sometimes.

And then you’ve got decorators that claim WFP causes paintwork to not last as long. We lost a £200 a clean job because of this.

I don’t won’t you using water - it’ll rot my (cheap n nasty) wooden frames and sills !
