Better off just buying another , but then thats what he wants isnt it !
Clever but not customer friendly is it ?
No, but this is the way of the world - when its broken then buy another. Manufacturers don't want you to repair anything and they don't want to fix anything either, although they still give lip service to providing a fantastic after sales service - marketing hype.
One our 80 year old customers bought a Panasonic cordless vacuum cleaner last September. The handle broke.
Panasonic's guarantee; send out a replacement handle. What about fitting? Panasonic's response was to find someone who will do it for her if she can't do it herself.
Just tell me you fitted the handle for her Spruce , (Please)
No I didn't. She told me about it when we last cleaned there. She got her son to fit it.
If she hadn't have had anyone to do it I would have gladly done it for her.
Which reminds me; my next door neighbour ordered a replacment turbo pipe for his VW Transporter from the main agents on Saturday which should be in today. I will fit that for him when he gets it. It will only take a couple of minutes as they just clip together.
(Not to many people have anything good to say about the way VW use this clamp method to join the turbo pipe sections together as they wear out and are expensive to replace.)
