FAO Dazmond re Grippa

Just wondering if you contacted grippa about the recent problems you had with your heater
1. the leaking diesel
2. the melted fuse

As this is in addition to the problem you had with the fuel tank connection when they installed it, I am curious as to their response. They should reimburse you the money you have spent so far resolving the diesel leak, and be able to advise of the reason for the fuse melting.

yes i emailed oliver about the diesel leak and the reason why....(T piece that was blanked off leaking).i told him my mechanic fixed it with some special sealant.he did offer to have credit added to my account if i could produce a receipt for the sealant.....TBH i couldnt be arsed going back to the mechanic and asking him has he got a receipt....the garage only charged me £60 anyway including labour.

as for the fuse problem, ive replaced the fuse and its running better than ever now....ive made sure the protective fuse holder is properly shut as i think this could of been the problem(water ingress)...

Surprised you didn't get a receipt for the repair job.  Its a business expense.

The garages wouldn't usually itemise sundry items on a bill. Each job usually has an item called sundries that covers odds and ends used such as cleaning materials, gasket sealer, grease and things like these. I'm sure Grippa operate the same way so they would know that he wouldn't get an invoice for 50p worth of sealer that they have itemised on the bill. Why didn't they suggest they share part if not carry the cost of the full repair?
