Anyone have these? Iv just had some delivered on a 35cm flocked brush and I’m not taking to them as much as the red fan jets ....
The 100° jets seem to hit the bristles on the way out and don’t get a chance to fan onto the windows- has anyone else had this?

thats all we use - love them, yes the 'edge of the fan can catch the bristles but the overall spread is so good its not a concern

Ah ok maybe it just takes time to adjust to them , I just can’t direct the fan jet into the side of the windows because it’s catching on the bristles 🤔

not sure what you mean - I found the reds to be poor as the arc was narrow almost like a pencil jet and didn't spread the water across the glass so water didn't reach the end bristles unlike the 100's

Il take a picture tomorrow when I’m using them - maybe the bristles closest to the fans need trimming to allow the water to shoot straight past the bristles instead of hitting them on the way out

I understaand what you are saying.  I'm not a lover of 100 degree fan jets myself, the 50 degree ones are better in my opinion as they fan just enough to cover with brush close to glass. !00 degree ones are noisy hitting the glass so not good for stealth cleaning

I tried the black fans, found them too noisy and the rinse was poor, because they was spread out they wet everything but you loose the heavy rinse to wash the dirt of the glass, I used to love using the red fans but for me 3mm Jets are generally my best suited jets for cleaning the glass.
They give such a wave that I barely have to do a rinse after as they’re still washing down behind me with that lovely water wave

My system is set up to deliver between 2 and 2.4lpm at up to 70psi to the brushhead. At that flow and pressure I prefer the black Gardiner fans over anything else I’ve tried. However, I use a swivel with my brush. Without that I would likely use 2 or 3mm pencils. I also rinse on or very close to the glass.

I’ve been saying this years, fan jets don’t produce enough ‘weight’ to rinse quickly. 3mm jets cause the water to come out like mini streams, they make rinsing so fast as the water is heavier. It’s like a wave falling down the glass rinsing all the dirt.

I tried both types of fan jets, but found that although they spread, the weight of that spread made the dirt take ages to fall down the glass. It’s not enough!

3mm for the win!

 Ive been using the100° Gardiner fan jets since november, absolutely love them, much wider Arc for rinsing,
 and i don't mind the noise of them either.

Gotta trim the bristles! Doh I didn’t read that bit - trimmed them and the water is fanning a lot better

Yeah you definitely need to up the flow using 3mm jets however this may sound stupid but I find using more flow you can splash n dash a tad quicker as like I said more water gives a bigger wave down the glass and I find there’s a sweet spot between using a high flow and not gobbling water, almost as if more is less🤪😂
Fans I only use for gutters facias and some con roofs now if I do them but unlike a lot of window cleaners I started using wfp with fans rather then pencils but I much prefer pencils for everyday glass cleaning

Yeah with 3mm jets, you can’t be stingy with the water, but I found 2mm jets splashed all over the shop. (No pun intended)
Most of the water was bouncing off the glass, therefore less flow down the glass for a rinse.

3mm on the other hand, it’s amazing, like a nice waterfall down the glass and no splash back. It’s like pouring a jug of water down the glass to rinse 😎

I just could not get on with fan jets, took too long to rinse.  Not enough water weight.
