Why would car manufacturers not produce the cars to run 30% more efficiently straight out of the showroom? It doesn’t make sense.

If you buy that you need to check yourself in to the nearest clinic.

Partly because they're selling those things for £40.00 but they're widely available on Amazon for £4.00.

Remapping an ECU is nothing new.
Why don't you have a quick google before making stupid comments?

Is it a remap? I only looked briefly and I thought it was a straight plug and play thing.

I sold my Ford Connect van to my brother. Silver, mint condition with 100k on the clock, never let me down.
He's a freelance MOT tester, works for an agency and travels all over the south of England.
He had it remapped for better performance and economy. Apparently they did a great job and it makes a real difference, but it cost around £350.

its just a basic map, which is stupid to use as youve no idea what the map is

get a proper economy remap done by a proper tuning company, depending on vehicle you might save 2-5 mpg

It's actually a really good product. After installing these to my trucks I cut my fuel bill by 26.5% Best money I ever spent.

On a side note, I have magic beans for sale, give us a bell Nathan. Going cheap

Same thing really, it’s a tuning box so it just plugs into the OBD and usually (in a basic sense) increases the rail pressure to trick the ECU to giving more fuel which makes more power, which will lead to an apparent increase in mpg.

If the box gets any readings wrong though (crap box/wear & tear) then it could be bye bye injectors.
Usually the mpg figures given by these sellers are b******s anyway, just pay for a proper remap done by a reputable company if you’re desperate to save fuel (the royal ‘you’, not you specifically)
