Listen Nathan,
I think you are generally a nice chap. I truly believe that you are good at what you do, and i don't doubt that you have a good rapport with your customers.
But please take note of the majority of opinion on here, you are acting needy and desperate. You don't need to explain yourself with a sob story, all you will ever be viewed as is the guy who is nice, but needs constant validation. You are not the only guy in the world with problems Nathan.
My wife suffers with Fibromyalgia, she has spondylitis of the spine so she has ltd use of her leg, she also has Endometriosis, which she needed surgery 2 years ago to remove her womb, she has a walking stick, she is in constant pain. I have to help her daily with the kids..ect
My Daughter has Juvenile Uveitis with band keratopathy. She is under the care of 3 different specialist hospitals, The London Evlina, Oxford University Hosptial, and Frimley Park. She is on 1 methotrexate injection every week, which wipes out her immune system, she suffers with the side effects of that, and also on Adalimumab Injections every fortnight, which I have to administer. We have several hospital appointments for both my daughter and my wife which is a challenge when you are running a business.
I have also have two Nephews with disabilitys, one has Downs Syndrome, and the other is Severely Autistic, that needs round the clock care. Not to mention my battle with depression over the years, which i am currently recovered from.
Now i would never use the ailments of my loved ones as an excuse for needing validation from people i barely know which is what you do, your customers are your customers Nathan, they are not your friends, they are not people you should be seeking sympathy from.
Now I run my business in a very regimented professional manner. I set my terms & conditions & stick to them. The price is the price no discounts, the dates are the dates, no excuses. My terms are my terms no need to tell everyone how bad my lot is, its inappropriate, unprofessional and unkind to your family.
So get a grip man.
