I believe so - we were able to supply all our data to squeegee when we trialled it

Darran
I thought you were CP's biggest advocate?

Why would that matter? I used to be the squeegee mop and buckets biggest advocate. You've always got to make sure you are not missing out.
It would matter because Squeegee sounds pretty basic at the moment and hardly worth considering for a larger outfit. Also, the effort involved in swapping and relearning a new system would put me off moving unless the one I'm using didn't meet my needs. I guess my question was a roundabout way of asking if CP no longer meets his needs.

You're not going to know if it's any use for you until you try it

My gut feeling is that Cleaner Planner has moved out of the UK to save on VAT and further tax implications. Probably the same people own it, it's now just in a different tax jurisdiction. They must be doing well.

Wasn’t Smudger the guy very close to Cleaner Planner when it started up? Is he still on here?

I'm fairly certain that's not correct.

Please tell us more. The email was so vague that it doesn't inspire any confidence. I think Squeegee will be seeing quite a few new sign ups.

I would presume(but not certain) the back up just has the details to be reloaded into cleaner planner. If you want actual names and addresses you would need to go to your customer page and export them to excel as with any other info like jobs etc.

Edit, i just did a back up from the settings page and have all my customer details on it.

Today I’ve had to have a bit of contact with them re an invoice. Typically Rob would respond very quickly and fix something instantly. Today I’ve been emailing someone called ‘Sarah’ and have got nowhere as she said she’s going to have to look into it.

I hope I’m just being paranoid but I’m getting worried.

I have had very minor issues with CP so hope this isn’t the end of their rainbow with U.K. window cleaners  ???

Sarah has been there for ages.

I'd imagine Rob has been inundated with emails...

All sorted, with a little help, just went on each tab,  ie jobs selected export then saved to a exel sheet and not in a CSV file , think i will update this every week just in case,
I did get an email from Sarah she told me she will continue to work for cleaner planner and will be based in the uk

Cheers

Yes - you are correct, mainly the other half that got cp off the ground with rob.

Over the last few months we have required/ need some features to make life easier ( mainly colour coding of services any a few other moinor tweaks ) but the response has been slow with no positive answers - these things would no concern many users and do not take away from the overall great use of cp - after all it is a program for all types of window cleaning biz’s and not a bespoke setup.

I noticed some threads regarding squeegee a few weeks back and took a look at the web site - from there it was decided to trial it, as it had moved forward leaps and bounds from 18 months ago esp. with respect of route planning but alas it has no look ahead facility - so planning work loads and allocating staff is impossible which for us makes squeegee as useful as a chocolate fire guard

I was going to give cp a try but now after reading this I don’t think I will bother.
I do all my work on paper I used to have George then wcp a few years back but both kept f***ing up on me there would be days I couldn’t get any work done as I couldn’t get into the system etc so just decided to go back to paper.
This one interested me however as it has the go careless it would of saved me so much time having everybody by direct debit.
Is this the best software out there at the minute or is there anymore to consider

If you struggled with George and a simple spreadsheet you are right to stick to pen and paper buddy.

I didn’t say I struggled with it where in my post do I say that I said they kept f***ing up.
They shut down or stopped working couldn’t do anything with them or some days they wouldn’t even start up so I had to wait until they got them working again.
So it’s was days work lost for my men
