Nice. Let us know what you think compared to the slx when you have used it for a few days  :)

I think if I still worked and worked alone I’d buy one.

i think thats a good point, when i worked as a 2 man i didnt feel as knackered but thats probably because i did fronts. Makes a diff when doing over connys etc.

I got the Extreme a few months ago .It is far stiffer than the slx  .I like it  with being stiffer there is more scrubbing than bouncing about, also with it being stiffer i dont hit the roofs of some windows  ,whilst trying to reach ones behind them ,You have to maintain it more than the slx but if you want to get the best out off it , you have to do it to get a long use from it .Was having a problem getting the new tape on it every few week  but have got it suused now a little wedge to open it up and each section slides in without chewing the tape off. ;D ;D

You won’t regret it, I found my daily rate went up through being less tired and rattling work off quicker too with it being lighter.
Just make sure you maintain it, but some of the dry spray lube from gardiner if you haven’t already its really good stuff and much better than the wd40 version etc as it leaves a coating on the pole causing less friction which is the main issue of wear.

if thats all i needed for the majority of my work then id probably stick to an SLX too but i need a 25 footer day in/day out and i have lots of awkward windows to reach over connys/extensions....this is where you really notice the difference compared to an SLX.....
price higher/work harder!

I’m the same, I used to have an Extreme 18’ but  on an 18’ pole it’s probably not worth the extra money as the SLX 18 is a really light pole anyway. I now use the gardiner 43cm DuPont brush and I wouldn’t fancy it on the end of an Extreme 18, it would make it top heavy.

Yeah if I was using a 25 all day I wouldn't Want to be using my sons slx
Up to a 22 I'd stick with Slx
Must admit I try and avoid the very high stuff, 40 feet and above,  there's plenty of easy low stuff to clean.
I use my supermax nowadays mainly with the bottom 3 sections removed
90% of my work is reached with the 18

I bought an18ft Extreme 2 years ago, due to a problem with my shoulder, best thing i ever did, the weight difference
between this and my 25ft SLX is huge, my shoulder is better now, my extreme is my every day go to pole,
i know it is more expensive, but it is worth the extra money, for the health benefits to your body.

It’s all I use you can’t put a price on making your working day easier,if you have hot water electric reels and these poles you’ll know you are doing everything you can to make the job not only easier but limiting you’re risk of injury all 3 combined.

I ordered the 25 but plan on using it as a 20 without a section for everyday use.

Some days I use my slx 18 all day on other days I may only use it on half of the work.. need something longer and at the moment the only other pole I have is a clx 27 which is horrible on an angle.

I think the 25 should cover me for everything except maybe half a dozen with  veluxes
