I just take one day at a time. I've worked when it has been snowing, and when snow is on the ground (trad).

If however, I feel in any way unsafe, or driving conditions are poor, then it's obviously a non-starter.

If main roads are safe and clear is all go for me.   If  the snow sticks to the main roads then it's a snow day on the games console hehe

Another way to decide if the schools are closed then....

If the roads are clear yes. I have an agreement that if we lose a day the work is made up by a bit extra each day or if preferred a day’s holiday. Voluntary.

I’m hoping it snows and sticks tbh. I’ve a long list of jobs  around the house saved up for an icy day and we haven’t had one this winter yet. This could be my only chance.

To be honest, i stopped looking at the forecast many years ago, as quite often its wrong for my area.  In the past I would make my mind over based on the forecast and often this disrupted my working day, as i may have decided to do something else instead and when it was wrong, i would lack the motivation to work as mentally i was prepared for something else.

Each night where im working the next day, the immersion goes on. Therefore if it does snow or the temp plumits, it makes no difference to my equipment and i can decide upon waking if its workable or not.

The deciding factor ( as always ) is the condition of the roads . Where I live  I doubt very much we'll get anything more than a dusting, if that .
