There are a few of the new shape customs coming up on auto trader under a year old £16700 upwards.
Evans halshaw seem to be way over priced and the service is terrible.

Thanks, but I’m looking for the Automatic 170PS version so will probably have to be a factory order.

The 170 automatic is a good choice I know someone that has the transit sport auto, really nice van to drive.
I would go for an automatic next time round, more money but worth it.

When I was looking, my best quote came from the Warrington Ford Transit Centre, can't remember the Network. They beat many others by a few grand. I noticed TC Harrison were quite competitive too.
Pre-registered tend to be cheaper too, if you can find one with the spec you're after.
Good luck.

A lot depends on exactly what spec you want doesn’t it!  If your looking for a specific configuration, fixed colour, weird chassis etc it will have to be a factory order.  I bought one about four years ago and had to wait over 6 months for it because I wanted it to my specs.  It cost a fortune so when I replaced it last year I saved about £12K  and bought a new Peugeot Boxer.  However, the best place I found for off the shelf physical stock of Transit Customs was a company called Quadrant Vans in Pontyclun.  Their Telephone number is 01443308914.

I don’t know what the price of the transit sports are but I’ve seen a few around the 20k mark not from a main dealer but a garage that does nearly new second hand vans, the ones I saw had about 2.5 years warranty left with only a few thousand miles on the clock.
I know there a lot more than that brand new from a ford dealer I’d be happy to forego the 6 months warranty for that kind of saving though, the ones I saw near to me looked brand new still with next to nothing being carried in them by the condition of them.

Phoned but they didn’t have anything suitable, they had some nice crew cabs but not many panel vans.

Probably be the manual version, looks like it’s going to be a factory order for the auto version.

I love the custom sports. Was in a friends one today. High up with the 3 heated leather seats etc.

Wish they weren’t so much. I guess if you’re a LTD company it’s more tax effective or if VAT registered you can claim the VAT back.

For us other sole proprietors I guess buying is the best option with claiming 18% back on tax a year? Still too much of a financial commitment for me at this stage as the amount you can claim back (I’m assuming) won’t warrant th high monthly payment.

If anyone is interested my friend (who is a window cleaner on here) is selling a 64 plate white sport model with I believe around 33k on the clock (Southend based) was in it today and wished I could afford it Lol

May I ask what size tank you have? I’m in the same position as you and have a 650 ltr tank so need to get the correct payload

I currently have a 750 litre tank in a 2015 transit custom limited 310, I needed the 750 tank for when I employed. I now work on my own so will only use around 400 litres per day so the new Custom Sport 290 will be sufficient, for a 650 litre tank you will need a minimum of the 310 I would think.

Too expensive for me. Good deals on the Sport model just now, nearly 7K off list price with 0% interest.
