The pole situation i can understand, as in carbon poles are better than fibreglass and hybrid poles, thats just a fact.
However as daz as mentioned the main point and one i keep stressing the weight issue is mostly health related more than an actual cleaning benefit. I suppose some would argue the same with hot water over cold. But really to have a pop at people for using a slightly heavier brush is like having a pop at someone benching that extra kg more than you, just because they can and it doesnt effect their working day nor week.
However if the arguement was based on design and hence the weight difference then i could understand their arguement. Take for instance the big chunky vikan brushes, then you have a point. These brushes were not made for wfp purposes but adapted and the chunky plastic could cause damage to frames n sill etc. That would be a valid point.
