I take a keen interest in the weather, (by no means an expert, it just interests me)
There has been another sudden stratospheric warming event, the same as last year. That’s what caused a swing in the wind direction and gave us the beast!
Possible we could see similar towards end of jan/feb. Defo not a dead cert though. It will get colder, but as for snow, who really knows!
Recently it’s been great, high pressure sitting over the uk. Light winds and little rain. That won’t last too long though.
Best weather for me is a light southerly, that’s a rare one!
