Thinking of getting   Grippa  diesel  heated system but wondered. On heater servicing. Intervals   Cost of service and where service centre would be in my vicinity  Ewell Surrey  also  diesel costs for one person 7 hours a day

I have had mine for 4 years and it’s done over 8000 hours and never been serviced the local agent to me said there is nothing to service it either works or it doesn’t , cost wise mine is running 8 hours a day 5 days a week I recone it burns 1:5 ltr per hour the book sais about 0:9 to 1:1 I believe , as far as Ime concerned it’s worth every penny if you can afford it get one you won’t regret it

You get a 3 year warranty with it so if you don’t have the service every year for 3 years at least you won’t get the parts replaced for free if it was to need any,they will also come to you to do it on your drive etc.
It’s a lot easier if it was to need a burner to have them replace it for you as it’s quiet tight in there if you don’t know what your doing,well worth the money imo I had a 5kw before I now have the 9kw 2 man system that’s the 1 to go for.

There is nothing to service , according to the Webasto dealers I have spoken to it either works or it doesn’t , if it doesn’t work it needs the pin and screen replacing and it certainly doesn’t need that doing every year , that’s a total con , mine is still running fine after more than 8000 hours that’s got to tell you it’s not nessasariy

1.it doesn't need servicing.
2.when the times comes for replacement pin and screen around £400-£450.
3.I use around £5 a day in diesel.

Keep the heater running all day on clean road diesel with min shut down/start ups and it should last many years....

Grippatank WILL NOT come and replace your pin and screen for you on your driveway....you need to drive to one of their workshops....

I had a 9kw two man system fitted in November and I love it. Piping hot water, no messing about in winter time with frozen pumps. I’m
Definitely quicker every day by about an hour I reckon.

I reckon it costs about £7 per day to run max. It’s pennies for a full time Window cleaner with a full workload.

its over a year old now nigel.....if you dont get it serviced EVERY year then the warranty is void....

Yes Daz read above m8 I will be getting mine serviced I know what goes into looking after them I’ve had 1 for 14 years, even if they just plug it in for me on the service and do a diagnostic test it’ll be worth it.
Anything to be replaced will be done for free for 3 years I’m happy with that.
